7.1 Overview
Cancellation and refund terms for each booking are determined by the cancellation policy selected by the Host for their listing. The applicable policy is displayed before you confirm your booking and is permanently captured in the booking terms snapshot at the time of confirmation.
Changes to a Host’s cancellation policy after your booking is confirmed do not affect your booking — the policy in effect at the time of booking always applies.
7.2 Short-Term Stay Policies
BowTel offers the following standard cancellation policy templates for short-term stays (fewer than 28 nights). Hosts select one for each listing.
7.2.1 Flexible

7.2.5 Custom Policies
Hosts may request custom cancellation policies through BowTel admin. Custom policies follow the same tier structure with different day thresholds and refund percentages.
7.3 Long-Term Stay Policies (28+ Nights)
Long-term bookings have specialized cancellation terms due to the greater commitment involved:
7.3.1 Firm Long-Term
- Full refund if cancelled 28+ days before check-in.
- Otherwise, first 30 days are non-refundable.
- Remaining nights refunded at 100%.
7.3.2 Strict Long-Term
- Full refund if cancelled 28+ days before check-in and within 48 hours of booking.
- Otherwise, first 30 days are non-refundable.
- Remaining nights refunded at 100%.
7.4 Fee Refund Rules

7.5 How to Cancel
Guests may cancel a booking through:
- The booking details page in their account;
- Contacting zenith@bowtel.vacations.
The cancellation is effective at the time it is processed. The refund amount is calculated based on the number of days remaining before check-in at the time of cancellation.
7.6 Refund Processing
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.
7.7 Modifications
Guests may request modifications to their booking (date changes) through the Platform. Modifications are subject to:
- Host approval;
- Availability of the requested dates;
- Price adjustments based on the new dates;
- The cancellation policy continues to apply to the modified booking based on the original booking date.
