BowTel is built on trust, respect, and hospitality. These community standards reflect the expectations we have for all members of our community.
14.2 For Everyone
14.2.1 Respect
- Treat all community members with courtesy and respect;
- Communicate promptly and clearly through Platform messaging;
- Be understanding of cultural differences;
- Resolve conflicts calmly and constructively.
14.2.2 Honesty
- Provide accurate information in your profile, listings, and communications;
- Leave honest reviews based on your actual experience;
- Report issues promptly rather than waiting for a dispute.
14.2.3 Safety
- Follow all applicable safety guidelines;
- Report safety concerns immediately;
- Do not put yourself or others at risk.
14.3 For Hosts
- Keep your listing accurate and up to date;
- Respond to booking requests and messages promptly (within 24 hours);
- Prepare the property to match the listing description;
- Be available (or provide a contact) for urgent issues during a Guest's stay;
- Respect Guests' privacy during their stay;
- Follow through on commitments — honour confirmed bookings.
14.4 For Guests
- Treat the property as if it were your own;
- Respect house rules and the neighbourhood;
- Communicate with the Host about any issues during the stay;
- Leave the property in a reasonable condition at checkout;
- Report damage honestly;
- Leave a fair and honest review.
14.5 Consequences
BowTel may take action for community standards violations, ranging from warnings to permanent account termination, based on the severity and frequency of violations.
